Meet Lee Daffern

Hi, I'm Lee

A fully qualified Mortgage and Protection Broker with over 25 years’ experience in financial services, covering banking, insurance and mortgage & protection broking most recently from the office of a major high street estate agent. I left this after 9 years to become self-employed in 2024.

Over the years, I’ve helped many clients turn their dream of homeownership into reality, providing clear, honest advice and tailored solutions that fit their individual needs. My approach is always centred around getting to know my clients, understanding their goals, and supporting them every step of the way. I’m based in South Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak, working with clients locally and across the UK. I pride myself on delivering an honest, friendly, approachable service — making the mortgage process as straightforward and stress-free as possible for you.

Away from work, I’m a big football and cricket fan — both playing and supporting, especially my local cricket club whom I and my son play for. I also love BBQ and spending quality time with my family, particularly on holidays to my happy place — Orlando! Fun fact: While studying Journalism at University, I spent a summer working at a local radio station in Oldham. On my very first shift reading the 8am news, I signed off and handed over to the presenter — who promptly thanked me live on air as "Leader Fern," having misheard my name… and it stuck!
