Hi, I’m Gavin!

I’m a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in Chesterfield with Just Mortgages, with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services. I began my career in insurance with Aviva before becoming a Mortgage Adviser with HSBC in 2006, and I joined Just Mortgages in 2019.

I support clients across Chesterfield and the surrounding areas, including Hasland, Brimington, Wingerworth, Clay Cross, Dronfield, Bolsover, Sheffield and the wider Derbyshire area. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, moving home, remortgaging or looking for protection advice, my aim is to provide clear guidance and a personal service from start to finish.

Born and bred in Sheffield, I know this part of the country well and really enjoy helping people make their next move. Chesterfield has plenty of local character, from the famous Crooked Spire and Chesterfield Market to nearby Queen’s Park, Chatsworth House and the Peak District.

No two days in this job are the same. Whether I’m helping a client secure their dream home or carrying out an annual mortgage review, I enjoy becoming a trusted adviser clients can return to throughout their homeownership journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy football and long walks with my Labrador, Max, affectionately known as “The Admin Assistant”.
