Meet Suzanne McPadden

Hi, I'm Suzanne.

I’ve lived and worked in and around North Somerset for many years. I’m very much a people person and love being part of the local community, whether that’s through business, networking, charity events or simply catching up with familiar faces.

My career has been wonderfully varied. I previously worked successfully in the mortgage industry before moving into senior leadership and business development roles, where I spent many years managing and growing organisations and supporting people through some of life’s biggest decisions. I’ve now returned to the mortgage industry, bringing that wider life and business experience with me.

Family is incredibly important to me, and when I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren. Although North Somerset is home, I also have a very special connection with North Leeds, where my grandchildren live. I’m there regularly and have come to know and love the area, particularly around Horsforth, Yeadon, Guiseley and the surrounding North Leeds communities. It really has become a second home to me.

Outside work, I’m a keen golfer, love gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables, and I’ve even spent time as part of a hot air balloon ground crew! From the Mendip Hills and Cheddar Gorge to the North Somerset coastline – and my regular trips north to Leeds – I feel very lucky to have connections with two fantastic parts of the country. I’m also passionate about community and have been involved in Rotary, charity fundraising and local events over the years. For me, relationships and community have always been a big part of both my working and family life.
