Meet Leanne Carvell

Hi, I’m Leanne!

I’m a self-employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser based in my local area of Burton-on-Trent. I have over 20 years’ experience in the banking and mortgage industry, including just over 19 years with Halifax. During that time, I worked in a variety of management roles and spent 12 years helping customers as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. For the past two years, I have been working as a self-employed adviser with Just Mortgages.

I genuinely love what I do and find it incredibly rewarding to help and support my clients, whether they are buying a new home, reviewing their existing mortgage or looking at ways to protect the people and things that matter most to them. I’m friendly, personable and always adapt my approach to suit how each client prefers to communicate. Building long-lasting relationships is very important to me, and I’m proud that many of my clients return to me time and again.

Outside of work, I’m engaged to be married and have two children, aged seven and three, with my youngest soon turning four. We love spending time together as a family, whether we’re getting creative with crafts, baking, gardening or heading out for walks, days out and holidays.

We particularly enjoy visiting National Trust locations, including Calke Abbey, Sudbury Hall and Staunton Harold. I’m also a keen artist and love finding time to paint, although these days my artwork often involves plenty of Disney characters for the children!
