Hi! I'm Matt Tilbury. 

I have been a mortgage broker in Bury St Edmunds for over 20 years, and I truly enjoy working in such a historic and welcoming Suffolk town. Over the years, I have built strong local connections, which helps me offer tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients across Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas.

I support clients across local communities including Moreton Hall, Fornham, Horringer, Thurston, Great Barton, Elmswell, Stowmarket and the wider West Suffolk area. Whether you are a first-time buyer, moving home, remortgaging or looking for protection advice, my aim is to make the process feel clear, straightforward and well supported from start to finish.

Having worked in Bury St Edmunds for many years, I know how special the local area is. From the Abbey Gardens and St Edmundsbury Cathedral to the town centre, The Arc shopping area and nearby Suffolk countryside, it is a fantastic place for individuals and families to call home.

My wife is also a broker with Just Mortgages, and together we have a son, George.

When I am not working, which is not very often, I volunteer as a leader with our local scout group, where George is also a member. I am passionate about scuba diving and cycling, and I have completed the London to Brighton ride twice in support of charity.

For me, helping clients is about more than finding a mortgage. It is about offering clear advice, local knowledge and support at every stage of their homeownership journey.
