Meet Andrew Davidson

Hi, I’m Andy, a mortgage adviser with more than 10 years’ experience in financial services and the property market.

My career began with Santander in Wellingborough, where I worked as a personal banking adviser before completing a diploma in financial advice. I then moved into personal insurance at the Kettering branch, which helped me develop a broader understanding of financial protection and the importance of preparing for the unexpected. I later joined Haart estate agents as a mortgage broker in its Northampton branch on Bridge Street. Working closely with buyers, homeowners and local property professionals gave me valuable insight into the mortgage process, refinancing and the property market across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. After building my experience at Haart, I decided to take the next step in my career by joining Just Mortgages as a self-employed adviser.

What I enjoy most about my role is getting to know each client and understanding what they are hoping to achieve. Every situation is different, so I take the time to explain the options clearly and provide a personal service throughout the mortgage journey. I also believe that learning never stops, and I continue to develop my knowledge so I can support clients with professionalism and care.

Outside of work, I am a dad to two daughters and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. We are often out exploring Stanwick Lakes, Sywell Country Park, Irchester Country Park or Fermyn Woods, usually bike riding, feeding the ducks or throwing a frisbee around. I am also a keen sports fan. Golf has become a particular favourite at Pytchley golf lodge for a quick 9 holes in between mortgage appointments. I also manage a Sunday league football team in the Nene league that covers Northampton, Rushden, Wellingborough, Kettering and Corby. I am also a lifelong Chelsea fan, mainly due to the London overspill that came to Wellingborough and a close friend was a fan when we were about 4!
