Hi, I'm Gavin 

I have worked in Financial Services since 2001 starting in insurance with Aviva, before moving to HSBC in 2006 as a Mortgage Adviser and then joining Just Mortgages as a Mortgage Broker in 2019.

I’m born and bred in Sheffield, have good knowledge of the city and working within my local area gives me a great opportunity to add value to my client’s house buying journey.

I love helping people buy their dream home or at least get started on the path to that dream home in the future, and hopefully become their trusted adviser for life.

The part of the job I enjoy the most is that no 2 days are ever the same, whether it’s helping secure a dream property or annual mortgage reviews to find the best deals available at the time. I’m always up for the challenge to provide the best advice and service to my clients, and the number of 5 Star Reviews I have received on Google from previous clients endorse the service I offer.

In my spare time I enjoy football and long walks with the Labrador, Max, AKA “The Admin Assistant”.

If I'm not in the gym doing crunches, I'm in the office crunching numbers. I have been in the mortgage industry for just over 5 years. Started with Lloyds Banking Group in Sheffield when I was 21 and stayed with them for 3 years before moving down to London with Countrywide. After a year in London, I came back to Sheffield with lots of memories and a burning hole in my pocket. I then settled in Crystal Peaks in Sheffield with Just Mortgages. With a vast experience in the industry, I am able to help with a wide variety of queries!
